Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bishnupur District, Utlou, Manipur.

 1(one) i) Doctorate in relevant field of Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Sciences / Fisheries including relevant basic Sciences with 4 years’ experience as Scientist / Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13,500/- having made contribution to research (teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work / innovations.
OR
Doctorate in relevant field of Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Sciences / Fisheries including relevant basic Sciences with 4 years’ experience of high quality post-doctoral research in an institution of repute evidenced by publications in high impact / renowned journals.



i) Specialisation in implementing Extension education programmes.
ii) Knowledge of Manipuri language.
2 Subject Matter Specialist (Agronomy)
Scale of pay
Rs. 8000 – 13,500/-
(pre revised)
 1(one) M.Sc. (Agri) in Agronomy i) Two(2) yrs experience in KVK / Research /Extension and similar fields.
ii) Knowledge of Manipuri language.

General instructions:

1. Age limit as on date of closing is 35 years (maximum) for Subject Matter Specialist  
    (SMS) and 47 years (maximum) for Programme C-ordinator relaxable as per rules.
2. Screened candidates shall be called for interview.
3. The Institute will have the right to fix criteria for screening the applications.
4. Applications received late and found incomplete will not be considered. Candidates
    applying for more than one post will have to submit applications separately for each
    post.
5. Application forms can be obtained only by paying a Demand Draft of Rs.100/- in
    favour of the Chairman, Utlou Joint-Farming-cum-Pisciculture Co-operative Society
    Ltd., Utlou, which is not refundable. The Demand Draft along with a self-addressed
    envelope may be sent to the Chairman KVK, Bishnupur district, Utlou, P.O. Nambol,
    B.P.O. Utlou, Manipur, Pin-795 134. The last date of obtaining the application form
    from the office of the KVK is 30 days from the date of advertisement and the
    completed application should reach the office of the KVK at Utlou within 45 days
    from the date of advertisement.
